Hello again! After 6 mos I am back to post my learning experiences for library Webolution. I already have this blog so I finished task #1 just like that! Task 2 was a good scavenger hunt because there are SO many things on the website that are helpful to staff and patrons. It's good to make us scavenger once in awhile so we know what is going on and we see all the new things there are to offer. It would be nice if you did a scavenger hunt often so I stay current.
The thing I had to search for the longest was how long we have had the Polk directory. Things I didn't know that I learned - we have four mobile resources, we have a place to go to troubleshoot errors on downloads, and how many shopping bags you can bring with you to the library. The thing I use the most from the list of questions was #6. I use KDL on a daily basis for books in a series. I am very glad we have that resource.
I think when it comes to readers I will want a Nook with color so I will be gunning for the $100.00 cert. There are many things that the $$$ can be used for such as yarn, bike parts, beads for creating.................
